ABOUT US
In May 2014, I proudly opened Positive Plumbing & Mechanical Inc.
Prior to opening my own business, I was employed as an apprentice and a licensed plumber in both British Columbia and Ontario from 2009-2013. In these roles, I gained valuable hands-on experience in commercial, residential plumbing and gas, as well as mechanical systems and equipment.
In 2012, I graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) for training, with my Red Seal Plumbing License, G2 Gas Certificate, and Cross Connection Control Certificate.
Between 2007 and 2009, I completed my Class 4 Power Engineering training and received my Red Seal in the trade. I became the Lead Engineer at Fairmont Chateau Whistler (FCW).
I left the FCW with extensive training in leadership, troubleshooting, coordinating employee training, health and safety and, most importantly, customer service. Throughout my tenure, I received multiple awards for service, dedication and performance.

Now is my opportunity to offer you my knowledge, experience and strong work ethic. There is a strong need in the plumbing industry today for both quality workmanship and superior customer service. Kevin Fox
Plumbing Apprentice
Kevin Fox started with us in 2020. He brings a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn every day. Kevin has four years of plumbing experience in all aspects of the field. He is a first-year Plumbing Apprentice, hoping that the in-class courses will open up again soon so he can continue his education.
Anders Malis
Plumbing Apprentice
Anders started with us Oct 2021. He is the newest part of our team and has already proven to be a valued team member. He is a Level 1 Apprentice. His work and life experiences are an important asset to our team and we are happy he is a member of our team.
Molly
Team Dog
Molly started with Positive Plumbing in July 2015. She now runs the Tail Wagging department. She is a strong advocate for Friday Socials and plays an important role on our social media team.
